Attendance
Cllrs. Dolley, Hoskin, Edwards, D. Floyd and Harris.
Apologies
Cllrs S. Floyd and Martin and District Councillor Egglestone.

Public Forum
There were no members of the public present.
Minutes
The Minutes of 14th December 2010 meeting were accepted unanimously.
Matters Arising
Cllr Harris said he would ascertain the new opening hours for the local police stations and put the information on the Council web site.
A reply had been received from St Mellion meeting thanking Pillaton Council for their support in having the visibility at Amy Tree corner improved.
Emergency Plan
A letter had been received regarding Pillaton’s ability to cope in extreme weather conditions. The Council resolved that:
- Two more salt bins would be obtained for the village possibly with District Councillor Egglestone’s assistance. One would be placed in Barton Meadow and one at Briars Ryn.
- An article would be put on the Council web site to see if there were volunteers who could assist in an emergency. It was noted that persons who do volunteer would do so at their own risk and would not be covered by the Council’s insurance.
Planning Permission
The Council approved planning applications for the rebuild of an existing store at Polborder and for the amended existing application at Tremoan farm.
Finance
The Bank position of Current account £1,000 and deposit account £3,274 was noted.
Any Other Business
The Clerk was asked to seek a refill of the salt bins.
Cllr Harris outlined the routes of walks around the Parish which he had prepared and asked for comment before putting them on the Council web site.
