Attendance
Cllrs. Dolley, Warne, D. Floyd, S. Floyd, Martin, Heap, Harris and County Councillor D. Pugh.
Apologies
None.
Election of Chair and Vice Chair
Cllr Dolley and Cllr Harris were elected unanimously as chair and vice chair respectively.
Declarations of Interest
Cllrs Dolley, S. Floyd and Martin declared an interest in paying the net proceeds arising from the Village News to the Village hall and left the room at the appropriate time.
Public Forum
There were no members of the public present.
Minutes
The Minutes of 16th April 2014 meeting were accepted unanimously.
Matters Arising
None.
Planning Permission
The Council approved the application for an extension to Acorn Cottage at Polborder but had no comment to make on an application confirming minor changes to Howton farm solar array.
Finance
The Bank position of current account £688 and deposit £2,784 was noted.
The Council resolved by a majority decision to transfer net receipts arising from the Village News to the Village Hall.
The following payments were authorised; insurance £438.70, Village hall rent for year £220 and £421 net receipts from Village News, Viking Direct stationery £19.52..
Community Cluster Group
The Council agreed to link with St Germans group and the Chair and vice chair agreed to attend the next meeting.
Any Other Business
The Council asked to be advised of any dog attacking other dogs.
The poor state of the roads continued to cause concern.
