Public Forum
There were two members of the public present.
Mr Millward asked the Councils help in preventing footballs from going into his garden on a regular basis. Mr Millward also said that the trees in his garden were unsafe but were in course of being lopped. The Chairman explained that the Council had made every effort to reduce the problem by erecting higher nets and putting up warning signs but agreed to examine the matter further.
Minutes
The Minutes of 21st May 2014 meeting were accepted unanimously.

Planning Permission
None.
Play Park
The Council considered the play park safety inspection report and resolved to seek quotations for repair of wooden post tops to prevent further deterioration.
After an examination of the position of the goal posts the Council decided to move the posts 10 metres downhill and 5 metres towards the road subject to no objections being received within 14 days of a notice announcing the planned change.
Finance
The Bank position of current account £946 and deposit £1,784 was noted.
The Council approved payment of £134.20 for the play park safety inspection report.
Any Other Business
Cllr D. Floyd reported that Cormac had removed the ancient granite signpost from Pillaton Mill for repair but had subsequently denied knowledge of its whereabouts. Cllr Floyd said that he would continue with his enquiries and County Councillor D. Pugh promised to assist.
County Councillor D. Pugh also undertook to ensure that the drains and gulleys in Pillaton were cleaned.
The Clerk was asked to request Highways to cut the grass at junctions to increase visibilty.
