Public Forum
There were no members of the public present.
Minutes
The Minutes of 5th and 27th July 2016 Council meetings were accepted unanimously.
Trusteeship of Hall
The Chairman explained that, with the possibility of the Hall Committee becoming a Charitable incorporated Organisation together with the planned purchase of the field in Trust for the Hall, the Parish Council could cease to be the custodian Trustee of the Hall.
Matters Arising
None.
Planning Permission
County Councillor D. Pugh undertook to support at County Hall the application for a barn conversion at Rick Park farm.
Finance
The Council approved a payment of £108 to R. Hoskin for grass cutting and £15 to J. Bennet for a poppy wreath.
Any Other Business
Cllr Heap reported a good response to the request for volunteers to carry out improvements to the Village.
County Councillor D. Pugh’s attention was drawn to the blocked drains in the Village, the continuing problems with pot holes and the blockage of the leat at Pillaton Mill. County Councillor D. Pugh promised to investigate the problems.
