WARNING TO RESIDENTS!

Overnight Incidents - 30 April 2011

Please be advised that in the early hours of Saturday 30th April 2011, a person or persons were disturbed within unlocked vehicles at a property in Briars Ryn.

Further incidents would indicate that there were person(s) in and around Pillaton in the early hours, up to no good!

In the daylight, five golf clubs were recovered from within the hedgerow of another area in Briars Ryn, local enquiries have so far not been fruitful as to who these belong to.

Strangely, a rather large box of marshmallows was found strewn on the driveway of a further house in Briars Ryn.

A further four vehicles in and around The Row, the top of the village and Briars Ryn were found to be unlocked with their car doors/boots slightly ajar.

A green fuel can has also been recovered near to the bench outside “The Old Post Office”.

PLEASE ENSURE YOU LOCK YOUR VEHICLES OVERNIGHT.

PLEASE REPORT ANY SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY TO THE POLICE, IF THE POLICE ARE AWARE OF SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY THEY ARE MORE LIKELY TO PATROL OUR AREA!
