Ploughman's Lunch - Saturday 7 March 2015
The day finally dawned and after much preparation our efforts were rewarded with some 58 people turning up for lunch.
The stall holders doing a brisk trade on the bottle stall, bric a brac and cards.
The demonstrations of Kumihomo and Mosaics were very well received and enjoyed by all who participated.
We would like to say a BIG THANK YOU to the people who gave very generous donations, donated raffle prizes and to who all gave up their time and energy to help on the day.
The amount raised was a fantastic £810 and we couldn’t have wished for a better result.
Thank you all for your support for this very worthy cause – The Chestnut Appeal at Derriford Hospital (this appeal is for men with prostate cancer).
