Police and Crime Plan Refresh and Budget Consultation

The Police and Crime Plan for 2014-2017 sets out the priorities for policing, crime and community safety in Devon and Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.

Towards the end of 2013 six priority areas were identified to make significant progress over the course of this Plan.

The Police and Crime Plan describes the actions that need to be taken to deliver against these priorities.

There are many people involved in policing and community safety and the Police and Crime Commissioner intends to work closely with the Chief Constable and with our statutory and voluntary partners to deliver this Plan.

It is important to take time to reflect on the achievements of the last 12 months, to consider the views of communities and partners who have engaged with the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner.

Now, is an appropriate time to consult on suggested changes which are required to continue to drive forward the work of the Police and Crime Plan 2014 –2017.


The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner is seeking the views of local communities to help shape the further development of the Police and Crime Plan.

In addition to this the consultation asks for your views on the “Precept” (the money allocated to policing Devon and Cornwall from Council Tax).
